Minimally Invasive Surgery

Open surgery has its own set of merits and demerits. Wound/ tissue healing has always been a major cause for concern with open surgeries. Complications such as wound dehiscence, loosening of sutures soft tissue oedema etc have been the most common complications faced.

With the advent of newer operative techniques, use of image intensifiers and better implant designs it is now possible to manage a large group of fractures with minimal access. This has significantly reduced wound complications and has considerably reduced hospital stay thereby helping recover faster.
