Paediatric Orthopaedics

The paediatric population have a set of disorders of the musculo-skeletal system unique to their age groups.
This is a very concerning health issue as it affects a growing child and may lead to long term disability or deformity. It also has a significant psychological impact on the parents.
This can be due to a large number of causes both systemic and / or local leading to an array of developmental issues. A detailed, systemic multi-disciplinary approach is required to evaluate and manage these conditions.
